Taylor Hefti, MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Taylor grew up on the coast of Virginia, spending most of her days covered in sand and saltwater from head to toe. Growing up, she enjoyed most of her summers making sand castles, riding bikes along the oceanfront, being on a boat, and catching sand crabs. She met her husband while they were in college and has followed him along his military journey from Texas, to North Carolina, and now Idaho. Since moving to Idaho with her husband, she has embraced mountain life, visiting national parks in their camper-van, floating the Boise River, and walking along the Greenbelt with her dogs, Holly and Bailey. In her spare time, she enjoys game nights with friends, tackling house projects, and traveling around the world. Her favorite places include Portugal, Australia, and Banff.
Taylor obtained her Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University in 2018, where she was a 4-year starter on the varsity field hockey team. She then graduated with highest honors from the University of St. Augustine with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2021. Before becoming an occupational therapist, Taylor recognized her love for pediatrics early on by volunteering at a local nonprofit equine therapeutic riding program. Having a brother with ASD and cerebral palsy, she enjoyed watching him learn and develop new skills through occupational therapy. Taylor is passionate about pediatrics and loves building relationships with children and their families.
