Allyssa (Ally) Miran, COTA

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Ally is a proud, potato loving Idahoan from Garden Valley, ID. In middle school, she figured out that despite her coordination flaws, hurdling was her special talent. It took her through high school, college, coached high school athletes for 4 years and, now, is training to become a High School Track & Field official. She loves being outdoors and being active. From paddle boarding or backpacking with llamas with her dad, mom & little bro.

She is a dog lover - especially when it comes to her Havapoo, Rawly. He goes everywhere with her and is learning to have patience and playfulness to be a therapy dog when he grows up!

She fell in love with occupational therapy at a young age by going to therapy sessions with her little brother every week growing up. She got to watch him learn skills that he now uses everyday and could not wait to make a difference like that in someone else’s life! From then on there was no other career for her. C’mon who wouldn’t want to play &; craft all day?
